Campi

Climbing, Touching, and clambouring over a world heritage site dating back to the 14th Century... This is Hampi.

Not normally taken back by the prospect of crumbling buildings - I was in awe of the freedom which was granted for such an impressive site.

Apart from my fascination with the ruins I also continued to receive much attention from (exclusively...it seems) young Indian men who would stop me frequently to pose with them for their photos...
Besides this odd (rather ego stroking) behavior I also noticed this particular age bracket quite partial to male on male arm linking, hand holding or (my personal favorite)... pinky linking.

Curious... I asked the google machine but found no solid Psychological theory (although many people heavily speculating that
a) its a socially accepted part of the culture.
b) may somewhat fill the void of female contact until marriage).

Fascinating.
