Strange place Bodhgaya....
... Home of the Mahabodhi Temple (/a bazillion satellite monasteries) and very significant for Buddhist pilgrims...its had an almost Disneyland feel about it...
... Legend has it that Prince Sidharta Gautama came here 2600 years ago, sat under the bodhi tree, got a little spiritual, gained enlightenment and became Lord Bhudda.
I jumped on the back of some dudes bike and he took me to a cave where he meditated for 6 years (which was made all the more exciting by the fact it was being patrolled by some very upset bees).
We rocked up and passed a Japanese chap who was being attacked by a swarm (and understandably waving and shouting with a flip flop for them to stop).
...apparently if you keep very still/quiet - they cant see you.... he literally passed us feet away but we couldn´t tell him.... poor guy.
No pictures this week folks - the camera was half inched during a "general class" train bunfight...Here´s a picture I borrowed from the interwebs...
